Rinse and pat dry chicken breasts. Gather all the ingredients and measure them out.

Place chicken in the slow cooker. Combine brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic, and ground ginger in a bowl, then pour over the chicken. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.

Once cooked, taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve with sauce drizzled on top and garnish with optional toppings.
